Соблюдение в тайне информации об испытуемых, включая их фамилии и всю медицинскую информацию. Если процедура проверки данных требует просмотра медицинской информации, касающейся конкретных пациентов/добровольцев, то это может быть сделано только уполномоченным лицом. До начала исследования у пациента/добровольца должно быть получено согласие на использование информации о нём с целью проверки данных. Пациенту/добровольцу должна быть дана гарантия, что вся информация о нём будет храниться в тайне.
